The latest version of Microsoft Office – “Office 2007” is available from Information and Educational Technology Services. IETS is prepared to distribute and install the software on individual faculty/staff college
computers upon request; but we will not be able to fully support inquiries about the vast
changes found in the new version. Those who make a request for the software before the campus-wide deployment should be prepared to learn to use the software independently.
If you are interested in receiving a copy of Microsoft Office 2007 please
send a request through Effat College’s eSupport system or send an e-mail
to computerhelp@effatcollege.edu.sa.
Note for those requesting Office 2007:
There are numerous changes in this upgrade and be prepared to spend some
time familiarizing yourself with the new interface. We will be planning to deploy Office 2007 campus-wide, offer on-site training and web-based tutorials in the near future, however until that time please refer to the Microsoft
website “Help
and How to”.
